The Association of Seventh-day Adventist Librarians (ASDAL) was established in 1981 at a meeting of Seventh-day Adventist librarians held at Pacific Union College. The association holds an annual conference, publishes ASDAL Action, awards the D. Glenn Hilts Scholarship and is a sponsor of the Seventh-day Adventist Periodical Index.
