Windsor, Eton, Runnymede Tour
Short coach ride to Windsor area to see the great royal castle, the largest and most revered school in Britain's private educational system in the neighboring town of Eton, and the Kennedy and Magna Carta memorials in Runnymede. Time will be given for supper in one of the towns.

This all-day tour will include a visit to the Bodleian Library, founded in 1602 and housed in four buildings, one of the largest in the world with over 3 million volumes. Also included is a visit to Blenheim Palace, ancestral home of the dukes of Marlborough and birthplace of Churchill.

Some Random Reminiscences of an Adventist Librarian at Oxford
Dennis Porter - a Senior Assistant Librarian in the Department of Western Manuscripts at the Bodleian Library, Oxford, for 30 years before taking an early retirement in 1988. Since that time, he has worked at various Oxford colleges in a similar capacity. During his time at the Bodleian, Mr. Porter taught history part-time at Newbold College for a number of years. He holds two MA's, one from London and one from Oxford.
