22nd Annual ASDAL Conference

CONFERENCE TOURS INFORMATION

LIBRARIANS JOINING CLOUTENS' TOUR GROUP:
Please note that you are on your own when the ASDAL conference officially starts on June 26, Wednesday morning after breakfast in Nogaro Hotel until the night of of June 30, Sunday. Cloutens' tour covers the departure from the University back to Buenos Aires after the conference.

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 26, 2002, 10:00 A.M. - 11:00 P.M. ($50.00)

The tour begins at Nogaró Hotel in Buenos Aires and ends at the Universidad Adventista del Plata in Libertador San Martín. The tour covers:

El Ateneo Grand Splendid - old restored theater transformed into a unique book store
National Library
Adventist Granix Restaurant, Florida St. - lunch included in fee
San Andres University - private institution with one of the nation's best library services
Universidad Adventista del Plata - box supper provided

FRIDAY, JUNE 28, 2002

Brief local tours in the afternoon. Watch for further announcements.

SABBATH, JUNE 29, 2002, 2:45 - 7:00 P.M. ($9.00)

Crespo Campo Denominational Tour - Visit the place where the first Adventists spent their first Sabbath, the present the church, the SDA historical museum, and the pioneers' graves. Fee includes a vegetarian dinner in a restaurant.
