When it comes to computer know-how, the Internet, World-Wide Web, and e-mail, do you feel that you or your library are being left behind? If so, then this workshop is for you! We want to take you from wherever you are, and give you the confidence to face the technical advances of the new millennium.
The Library Foundations for a New Millennium Workshop will take place at Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. It will provide international librarians with an introduction to the new technologies that will shape our libraries in the 21st century.
The workshop follows after the General Conference Session which convenes at Toronto, Canada from Friday, June 30 to Sabbath, July 8, 2000. Sunday will be a travel day - Andrews University is 8 hours by road or train from Toronto. The Workshop begins with a Welcome Dinner on Sunday evening, July 9.
Immediately following the Workshop is the ASDAL 2000 Conference to be held at Andrews University, commencing Tuesday evening, July 16. With an emphasis on international issues in librarianship, this Conference will be attended by Adventist librarians from all over the world.
